This hand carved Inuit bird sculpture is a striking example of Indigenous Canadian art. It captures a minimalist, organic form with elegant flowing lines characteristic of classic Arctic wildlife carvings. Although there are other carved soapstone pieces similar to this, it is one of a kind :)
It measures approximately 6" x 2.5" x 2.5"
Please note- There are natural cracks and lines in the soap stone, but not due to damage, just naturally occurring. However there are some scratches as shown in pics. The bottom has the artists name and some numbers etched in it. Please make sure to look at pics closely. Thanks for looking!
